This tip is going to keep you from putting yourself in a very embarrassing situation!

I think everyone would agree that the internet has been a wonderful tool. However, with it has come the urban legends, you know, stories told as if they were true, but in fact are just made up.

I'm not sure I'd even heard the term "urban legend" before the internet. If we admit it, we have all been gullible at least once and believed one of these stories, and passed it on to our friends as true.

Even the US Government was caught in a very embarrassing moment. They passed on a story that hidden spy transmitters had been put in Canadian coins and were in circulation. Guess what,it was an urban legend!

Oh it's easy enough to get caught by them, because some of them sound so believable. I have found a great solution to this problem so you will never be duped again.

It's a great website whose link I have put right here www.snopes.com. It has a very good search function on the home page where you can find out whether something is true or not.

For instance, did Cocaine really use to be an ingredient in Coca Cola? (By the way, the answer is yes). Or, is it true that petitions signed via email have no real value and are not excepted by any government agency (yep, they're a waste of time). What if you want to look and see if a particular charity is real or not, well you can.

So before you forward those e-mails with the next great story, check out this website and know the truth before you embarrass yourself by sending on a spoof or before you don't send a story or a warning to your friend that really is true.

Now, if you want to know the truth about real estate or loan information all you have to do is click on my website, send me an email, , or simply give me a call! I promise to give you accurate and honest information.

Just like you are good at what you do, I am very good at what I do. And what I do is provide honest answers to your questions. Many of you have forwarded me the different offers you get in the mail and or via email from other lenders that you really don't know.

I have kept many of you from making huge mistakes, and I have also told some of you that the offer actually looks like a good deal.

Most times I can beat the deal that you are being offered and now you have somebody working for you that you can trust, somebody that lives in your neighborhood, while saving you money. It just doesn't get any better than that.

So give me a call or shoot me an email to schedule your yearly "mortgage check up" to make sure you are currently in the loan program that best suits you and your family. Thanks for letting me help. I look forward to hearing from you soon

Phil
